Week 11–23- 27th August (Final week of the project)

This week we met with our Digital Partner, Reply to discuss the feedback given in the testing session and any improvement which still needed to be made for it to be ready to launch. The outcome of this meeting was that the Events Hub we had tested wasn’t suitable for our needs. We needed to switch to a different plug-in which allowed users to add events to their own personal dashboard. We were able to obtain a non-profit version of the Events Plug-in which better suited our user requirements.

We also completed work on the Safety Exit button following usability testing. The button is now a fixed widget on both the top and bottom of the Hub and text has been updated to reflect feedback of users.

Reply have hosted a tutorial with us to show how we will be able to add a video to the homepage of the Hub when appropriate. We would like to explore an existing service user who has been involved in the testing process being involved in the creation of this video, so this will be a long-term goal for us and we will focus on staff and user training for the upcoming month so the platform can be used.
